Do you take walk-in eye examinations at MOSCOT Eyecare?
We always do our best to accommodate walk in patients, though appointments are recommended to avoid wait time.

All MOSCOT doctors are New York State licensed Doctors of Optometry, fully trained in the diagnosis and treatment of medical eye diseases, with the ability to prescribe medical eye drops for various eye conditions. MOSCOT doctors maintain the highest-level of continuing education including training on the latest and most modern medical equipment.
No, it cannot. Contact lenses require additional measurements/parameters than eyeglasses in order to ensure a proper and healthy fit. There is an extra fee for a contact lens evaluation because several additional tests, extra time and expertise are required to ensure your lenses fit properly, your eyes breathe adequately, and optimal ocular health is maintained. Your follow up visit is included as well.
Yes. Our comprehensive eye exam, in addition to checking the correction one’s vision requires, also checks the health of a patient’s eyes..
It is generally recommended that patients have their eyes dilated every two years. Sometimes, based on a patient’s history, the doctor will do it annually.
