MOSCOT releases new frames seasonally in the Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter to coincide with international eyewear tradeshows, SILMO and MIDO.

The MOSCOT Originals Collection, based on styles from the MOSCOT archives from 1930- 1970, celebrates the classic good looks and timeless design born in decades past. The eyewear retains the authenticity of the original frame styles including real glass lenses in the sunglasses, traditional hardware, and lens colors that precisely duplicate the true old school colors first fabricated by the company in the 1940s. The faithfully reproduced Collection is available as ophthalmic eyewear or sunglasses, in a variety of frame and lens color combinations and sizes.

The MOSCOT Spirit Collection combines the Company's nearly 100 years of eyewear expertise with its downtown New York City heritage to create clean, comfortable, wearable frames. The Collection honors the MOSCOT Originals by reinterpreting classic design elements that look great on all face shapes and sizes. The Collection is available as ophthalmic eyewear or sunglasses, with or without a prescription, in a variety of frame and lens color combinations and sizes, and features the Company's branded "M" on the temple tips.

If you simply can't part with your favorite pair of MOSCOT Originals, fear not, The MOSCOT Originals Collection is also available as sunglasses. We've taken our most popular MOSCOT Originals styles and adorned each with real glass lenses that precisely duplicate the true old school colors first fabricated by the Company in the 1940s -- Cosmitan Brown (camel brown), Calibar Green (traditional bottle green) and G-15 (a grey/green color first created in the 1930s for pilots). The Collection is available with or without a prescription, in a variety of frame and lens color combinations and sizes.

Whether you're hiding from the sun or from prying eyes, The MOSCOT Sun Collection provides the perfect cover. Oversized and dramatic, or sleek and modern, MOSCOT Sun has a frame for every face. The Collection features CR-39 lenses for 100% UVA and UVB sun coverage, and can be made with or without a prescription. Who said protection can't be fun?

The frames in The MOSCOT Originals Collection are named after Moscot family members, are family member’s nicknames, or are Yiddish words that have evolved into “MOSCOT-isms.” The MOSCOT Spirit Collection are either named after Moscot family members or friends, or are named with an archetypical MOSCOT customer in mind – its lines, shape and characteristics as unique as the person who chooses to wear it.

All of the frames in The MOSCOT Originals and MOSCOT Spirit Collections may be ordered as sunglasses.

Yes, all of our sunglasses have 100% UV protection. Glass lenses inherently block 100% of UVA and UVB light.
